worst ever experince with hotel. Manoj who is i think manager doesn't know how to talk with customers and very rude. In chilled weather of munnar, we all 3 had a cold shower bath and I was just asking to give hot water. they said it will come but when god knows. I roldnthem for food but given very spicy food and told us that I thought you will like it. this is happened for breakfast as well for dinner. Also 4 photo frames (as shown in pic) hanging loosely behind bed where our head rest if we sit on bed. it was so loose that it fell down and small wooden portion borke and for that he was asking rs.500 and also telling us no manners to you. I suggest not to book hotel in life and also bad service. no choice of breakfast and dont take Chinese in this hotel. Horrible.

Excellent small hotel in Munnar. A beautiful stone house with five spacious rooms, all of them with balconies. Delicious breakfast was included. Manooj was extremely helpful! The location is in a small village some 30 minutes from Munnar, and the road to Munnar is terrible. It is also not located in a private plantation (in fact, its nearest neighbor is an ugly huge hotel). But once inside it's beautiful, and the views from the swimming pool are wonderful. You will probably need a car here.

We stayed at Chithirapuram Palace for six nights, as we needed a rest (especially as I had also caught a cold down in Thekkady). This was the perfect place to get it. Manoj is a great manager, hands-on and eager to help. The food is delicious, and home cooked, so we ate all our meals here, too, from a rotating Keralan breakfast, to scrumptious dinners. The best part perhaps is the location, especially as we had the room with the front facing balcony - we were woken up by birdsong and could watch a vast number of birds endemic to the Ghats from comfy chairs outside of our rooms.

Good hotel with good rooms, the interior is really great with a personality. Check for a good price and go for it, check prices of other hotels in munnar. Chithirapuram is one hill lower than munnar, 15 min car ride from hotel to munnar town one hill up. Points to consider The climb to the hotel is really steep from main road, an experienced driver is required here. If you plan to go with driver only freshen washroom are available to driver, no separate room for driver. Food: Breakfast was good, they have fruit juice, omlette, bread butter and a south indian dish of the day. Dinner was also decent Nice hotel and experience overall.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible property and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations! Waking up to the serene surroundings was an experience in itself. One of the highlights was the fresh homely food absolutely delicious, every meal was a treat. The resort also has a fantastic pool. Its a perfect getaway whether you're looking to relax, explore, or just enjoy quality time with loved ones. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing vacation. Ill definitely be returning!
