Im still dreaming about the view from here. The homestay is set on the middle of the paddy fields with a direct view of the hills. It is so quiet and calm. The rooms are simple but lovely, staying in a cottage right by the water was such a unique experience. The hosts were great, but honestly, the scenery steals the show. A must-visit if you are in Palakkad.

There is no reason to give less star. Location is so beautiful... hill view scene is awesome. Staffs are so humble and services are excellent. Food quality is also very good. it is suggested to stay in this homestay when u come to Nelliyampathy. Also my sincere thanks to the staffs and wish them for better future ..

I had a very disappointing experience at Hill View Home Stay, Pothukund. The rooms were very dirty. The floor was not cleaned, and there were no bedsheets on the bed when we arrived. Only after asking did they provide bedsheets. The bathroom was also extremely dirty, and even the water did not seem clean. There were no outdoor lights at night, which made the surroundings feel unsafe. While the location looks nice during the daytime, at night we heard strange noises from outside and even from the roof, which made the stay uncomfortable. We reached the property around 1:00 AM and had to wait almost one hour to get the room that we had already booked, which was very inconvenient. The charges are too high for the kind of rooms they provide. In my opinion, the room quality matches something worth 1000 or less. It feels like they charge only for the view, not for the room quality or service. The food is also overpriced. Overall, this was a very bad choice and not worth the money. I would not recommend this place based on my experience

Had a wonderful time at Hill View Homestay. Has a very serene landscape near Nelliampatty. Would definitely recommend this stay if you are travelling around. The food (Puttu + chicken curry) was really good. Anoop was a very sweet host and catered to all our requests.

Great location by the mountains view. If you need a bigger space ask for it specifically as they have different room sizes. A well maintained clean space woth great food. The care taker anoop is really friendly and welcoming.
