Very clean and comfortable homestay. Stayed here with my family for 2 nights. The rooms are great, and the food is amazing. A/C rooms were such a relief from the hot days. You get a real sense of what small town living is like in Kerala. It is located very close to the canal where the ferry to Allepey docks which was really convenient. Uni and his family made the stay very memorable, and we would definitely be staying with them again on our next trip to Kerala.

Very neat and clean place with enough amenities. Mr Unni is a really good host. They provide local Kerala food if you inform in advance. Food was delicious too. The surrounding is also very beautiful, it gives real feel of Kerala. Long story short, it's value for money.

It's a home stay. Very humble host. Located a bit inside from the road. It is at a walkable distance from the Vembanad lake. Houseboats are available near to the homestay. The homestay listed at the BnB as well. Rooms are available with all required amenities (including AC) but a bit small. They offer all three meals at additional cost. Tea and coffee charge separate from meals.

If you are planning to experience backwaters & local life, Stay at Kumarakom rather than Allepey. The place is less crowded & peaceful. Restaurants are lesser but all homestays have some or the other food options which are good. The hosting family is very friendly & adjusting. We were caught in rain & asked them to prepare some food for us at 9pm. Moreover the house is a beautiful one & will give a good peace of mind during your stay.

Immersed in the idyllic Kumarakom nature, i felt at home every moment of my stay in this homestay. The owners are very nice and friendly, and they prepare delicious homemade Kerali food. The location is perfect, nearby a canal full of houseboats and tour agencies. Perfect place to enjoy a few days of relax and disconnect from routine.
