I absolutely loved our time spent here at the Paradise Village Beach resort. You can tell that this family-owned resort has excellent management because there was not a detail that was left unattended to. All the staff members were friendly and accommodating. The property was absolutely impeccable! The Swimming pools were wonderful, the two pickleball courts were easy to make reservations for, We ate it every one of the six restaurants and all the food we got was excellent and a very good value. They have free shows just about every night of the week and those were great! We also paid to go to the Western night which had fantastic food and wonderful entertainment. The palapas on the beach were great and they had enough staff members that we could order food and drinks and they brought it to us either at the pool or under our palapa. As for accommodations, they were fantastic! Every room has its own balcony and every room has a kitchen with a cooktop and microwave and all the essential items for cooking simple meals. They also had bicycles for rent as well as tennis rackets and pickleball rackets and balls. I also appreciate that they have yoga on the beach 3 days per week. We definitely will be back!

The food was phenomenal! We have visited Paradise Village many times but this was our first visit to the Copan Sunset Bar. My husband had the fish tacos and I had the Beef Tacos with Blue Cheese and both were delicious! For dessert we shared the chocolate mousse which was also very good. The only downfall was that the elevator wasnt working but it was an amazing experience and we will be back on our next visit! Also, the view was fantastic!

Excellent service, food and appetizers! The waiters made us feel like family, he learned our names and recommended some amazing dishes. Would certainly go back. Very fresh and cooked to order. Portions are large!!

This place, though beautiful, wasn't for us and we didn't find it great value for money. It was full of folks who come back time and time again ("we've been coming here for 25 years!") and as a result creates 2 tiers of service and access. If you are visiting just for a few days or a week as we were then can you feel a bit second class. We found the restaurant overpriced (and not serving Mexican food). The pool was fun for a little while and then just loud and busy. On the plus side, rooms are very clean, there are really nice pickleball courts, the beach is beautiful (if you can find a palapa) and it's next door to a shopping mall and grocery store (it has reasonably priced tacos etc). The grounds are beautiful. We also had a negative experience with taxis and bell boys being in cahoots and upping the price that left a bad impression. Don't go here if you are looking to experience what Mexico has to offer. You could plunk this hotel down in any warm place and it wouldn't change the vibe.

What a once in a lifetime vacation! The hotel and staff attended to our every need. I especially want to shout out Antonio in the palapa area for caring to our needs and taking care of everyone in our party. Edit: Would like to send an extra special thank you to the staff who helped us shelter in place during the lock down/civil unrest in PVR and surrounding areas. The hotel and staff kept our safety as a top priority and serviced as best as they could with limited staff due to the road closures.
