We had an incredible stay at The Story from Jan 8th to 11th, 2026! The team truly outdid themselves. Special thanks to Ms. Ayesha and the reception team for a seamless check-in experience. The food team, led by Mr. Hari, served us top-notch cuisine with exceptional service. And kudos to Mr. Ilayaraja and the housekeeping team for keeping our rooms spotless. The entire experience was truly memorable, and I'm so grateful for the wonderful hospitality. Thank you, The Story team, for making our stay unforgettable! Krishna Sai M

The Story Restaurant in Yercaud truly lives up to its name. The ambience is beautifully curatedcalm, cozy, and perfectly in sync with the serenity of the hills. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, making the dining experience feel special and memorable. The food was absolutely delightfulfresh, flavorful, and well presented. Each dish reflected great attention to quality and taste. The service deserves a special mention: the staff were courteous, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that blended great food, soothing ambience, and warm hospitality. A must-visit place in Yercaud for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed and fulfilling dining experience. Highly recommended!

I stayed in The story on the Republic day eve of 2026. The property is nice with good location and room. But the service was a big minus. There was neither internet or TV channels available. Since the mobile network is also very poor in the area and it was raining outside, we were stuck without any entertainment. Most of the items in the restaurant menu were not available. Morning buffet was also very limited and poor supply (no egg in egg masala!). Overall I see a good scope for improvement for this fine property. *Response after reply from hotel*: There were no single TV channels available at all. I had told the staff twice that there is no egg in egg masala, but they only nodded. Nobody had parcelled me any food, neither did I request.My request was to provide some refund. Spending 11.5k and not getting basic facilities was not okay. Staff has provided wrong information to you.

My stay at this resort was disappointing, especially from a family and kids perspective. First, hospitality needs major improvement. Staff entered the room wearing their slippers, which is not hygienic. When I requested room cleaning, I was told it would be done only after 10 a.m. There seems to be no provision for emergency cleaning, which is concerning. Food options were another issue. At night, there was no chapathi available. When I requested simple food for my child, I was told only tandoori items were available. While the resort has a strict rule of no outside food allowed, they do not fulfill basic kids food needs, which is very inconvenient for families. The resort appears to be more suitable for photography sessions than for a comfortable stay. It is not kid-friendly at all. There was frequent disturbance due to room service mix-ups and miscommunication. Clean water is also a serious concern. I noticed poor water quality in all water areas, which makes it unsafe for children. Overall, I would not recommend this resort for families with kids. Significant improvements are needed in hospitality, cleanliness, food options, and child-friendly facilities.

Extremely Disappointing Experience Poor Management & False Promises We booked 10 rooms with our family, expecting at least basic hospitality and coordination. During the bonfire, we politely requested Mr. Rohan (receptionist) to change the song. He strictly refused, stating that one guest who booked only a single room did not agree. This shows complete disregard for majority guests and highlights poor decision-making and unprofessional behavior. On top of this, there is NO mobile network at the property, which was never clearly informed in advance. The Wi-Fi was not working at all. When we raised this issue, the staff assured us that it would be fixed by evening, but there was absolutely no improvement even later. This feels like a false promise just to silence guests. Mr. Rohans attitude throughout was rigid, unhelpful, and insensitive, which ruined the overall stay. When guests book multiple rooms and stay as a group, basic respect, flexibility, and honest communication are expected. This property seriously lacks guest handling, staff training, and accountability. I strongly hope the property owner reviews these issues personally, because with such management, repeat customers will definitely be lost.
