If you book via Agoda or any third party website, book at your OWN RISK as there is no assurance you will get the room. We arrived at the hotel and the owner was very rude with us. He spoke to us on the phone and asked us to wait at the reception for 20 mins. After arriving, he said the room is not available and said the guest has taken the keys with them. I had contacted him 2 days ago via what's app and he had confirmed the booking. When we stated you had already confirmed the booking, he was like you did not contact me before coming and hence, the room is not available and you need to wait. Seemed like he had given the room to somebody else. He started arguing with us instead of being a good host and polite. We decided to leave and take a room elsewhere. Very arrogant and highly unprofessional.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! After checkin I realized that AC doesn't work properly. I claimed that at the reception. The guy showed me another room, but AC also didn't work! He didn't propse any solution, so I requested to cancel this booking and get the money back. My request was accepted and I was told to come back the next day at 10am. I came and instead of promised money I had very rude conversation with the owner on the phone (saying remotely that AC works for sure). Fianally, he agreed to give me full refund after checking bank account. I came there again after 1h and I had to wait over 1h. Finally, I got the money back, but not a full amount. I wasted so much time and energy for this stupid case. They're totally lacking basic conmunication skills and politeness.

The Rooms are too good and the food is so amazing ! Loved it and highly suggested ! Best part - Walkable distance from the beach !

It's very beautiful home. Very nicely decorated as you see in photos. Beach and cliff is just 5 min walk. You can go worries free to beach they have their restorent as well near the beach with the same name.

It's very near to black sand beach. I forgot two kids bags at property however hotel owner retured those bags. He is honest. Varkala is a costal area so expect hot and humid weather always.
