We visited Wood Castle Residency, Vagamon for an office team trip, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The stay was poorly managed from start to end. There were room shortages even after prior confirmation, and bedsheets were not sufficient for all guests. We also faced continuous water supply issues, and the water heater was not working, which caused major inconvenience. Food service was another big problem. Breakfast was served only at 1:30 PM, and lunch was provided at 5:40 PM, showing a complete lack of planning and coordination. Additionally, the behavior from the property owner was rude and unprofessional, which made the situation worse. Basic hospitality was missing. This property is not suitable for office trips or large groups. Management seriously needs to improve service quality, facilities, and guest handling.

Extremely disappointing stay. No proper water supply, water heater didnt work, insufficient rooms and bedsheets. Food was served hours late (breakfast at 1:30 PM, lunch at 5:40 PM). Unprofessional and rude behavior from the property owner. Poor management and zero hospitality. Avoid this place.

A very quiet place for a perfect get away. The place is designed like an old Kerala style house. There are only 5 Rooms with a dining area and kitchen. Food can be cooked or you can tell the care taker and he will get you food from outside. Did not have any bad experience but there is room for improvement like having towels for the rooms, having a good cable TV connection with more channels.

It's a kerela style Wooden house, castle it's a different Ambience, Nice stay for couples, family without a any disturbance. Rooms are quite nice along with Adequate kitchen which contains refrigerator also. Sufficient parking facilities available. it's nice enjoy the climate along with the camp fire. It leads us to a traditional stay.

We are very much disappointed due to wrong information regarding this hotel location, road access,facilities, cleanliness and features in online brochure. The road is very pathetic and damaged my car which repairing costs Rs 5000.Cleanliness of the room is very pathetic, We found a centipede in bathroom, Main door of the room cannot lock properly and the room has a show piece TV with no STB to view channels. The wardrobe inside is dumbed with lot of things like electronics,cables etc, we couldn't sleep well due to very bad quality of bed, room doesn't have even a single dust bin. This hotel is not an option for family and couples but bachelors can enjoy with campfire and alcohol since it is an isolated area. The road and room cleanliness and amenities spoiled our holiday.Hence we could not able to stay in this hotel then we cancelled our second day stay after late time check in of first day.
